What Others are Saying About Journey of the Heart
I purchased the book for a granddaughter who just experienced a 'pioneer trek', but read it first and thoroughly enjoyed it! Though it is written for young adults, it is a compelling, interesting, fast read for an adult with the added bonus of being faith-promoting for everyone. After reading it, I had a desire to re-read some of my own personal ancestor's stories. I am passing on and recommending this book to our whole family of readers, regardless of age. | C Gardner |
It was a wonderful book that brought church history in with a great story about changing your heart to do what the Lord wants of you | Roseanne |
What a fantastic book!! Every once in a while I would not only forget where (and when?) I was, I would forget that I was actually reading rather than there (and then?) watching the story unfold. And not just spectacular storytelling, but jam packed with true and precious gospel principles told plainly and simply. I absolutely loved it. | Ric Hulshoff |
Wow, what a great story! As good and powerful of a story as I have ever read. I laughed and felt the emotions of the people in the story. I was sucked into it so quickly and didn't want to stop until I had it all. The dialog was well done. It brought to mind many things including the difficulty of someone from our time trying to describe the things present in our world to those who lived not long ago. The story is great, the message profound. | Dan Crites |
